Gamify Learning with Google Forms & Sheets
G-Doc Backchannel
Jared Wilson
In the two sessions I will show how I created a simple game-based introduction to a Unit of work for primary / elementary students on Space (Mission to Mars)
I will show you the site that this was all based on, the Google forms I used to allow students to add answers and how the back-end of all this works using Google sheets, add-ons and formulas to email students and send certificates.
For all of these sessions you will need an active Gmail / Google account.

Discovery Session
We will look briefly at the reasons why gamification is a successful strategy and when to use it. To ensure you enjoy this brief discovery session, we will have a hands-on attempt at completing the activities that our Primary / Elementary learners at my school attempt as part of an introduction to a new unit of work.
